This was a well patronised run with the Hasher's looking divine in their red dresses.
Heavy, Lois and Nummy celebrated their 35th Wedding anniversaries. As Mountie pointed out, the statistics are correct, 2 in 3 marriages end in divorce!
Fluid movement set a great run with several on backs and plenty of variety . "Carina from Narina " a well respected Athlete from the Ballarat Harries came out for a run and enjoyed it immensely. She left before the Down downs.
Dumber was the stand in Grand Master, Rowdy was the Sergent, Nummy was a late addition for the grog master, the FOP O Metre and FOP were absent, so I think Shafted did the screwing (or was that in his own mind?).
Has JeSOS left us?
The Down downs included a joke from Tommy which was OK, a joke from Pus Bucket or should I say Puss Bucket, which got a laugh. Dumber for becoming a Blues supporter, B.P got a charge for talking too loudly, fancy that! Glider was a welcome back and GILF for being a world champion American
Fluid movement provided and nice meal of Chicken and Salads and Glider provided his birthday cake for desert. It was a bit windy and chilly so only the well covered remained to party.
Next weeks run is at Lois Lanes in Miners Rest. It is her birthday so don't tell anyone. See you there
God bless Nummy
A drinking group with a running problem. We meet on Monday nights at 6:30 from various venues.

Run 1647 Tommy Half a Bar Elaine.
Happy Australia Day. If you were lucky you caught the bus down to Elaine (Tough luck SS).
This was a true Aussie run with the heat, the flies, dust, sheep and shit... and beer.
The run was predictable and ended at the Cemetery where we all payed tribute to Half a Bra.
Most of the Hashers caught a lift back to the house on the back of the ute. This brought back the wild and unsafe days of our childhood. Precious and Immaculate Conception were loving the freedom....
All arrived safe and sound.
Welcome back was to our man Hymen and Little Evil who is carrying an injury. Mountie thought that Hymen was carrying to much pork... looked fine bacon to me...
GoGo was a visitor from Geelong and it was good to see the old Bugger.
JeSOS is growing a handle bar moustache which is very becoming.
The FOP O Metre was again missing in action so FOP used one of his children as a stand in... not a good look.
Tommy Half a Bar told a long, long joke that lost the oomph at the end. Yawn
Following on from Tommy, Dumber attempted to entertain with "Sayings" ooh boy they weren't much better. By the way, did you hear about Dumbers fall...
SS was the BBQ cook and did a great job.
As it is now Friday, my memory is dim to any other Down, Downs but we had a good night as usual.
Next weeks run is on Jindabyne road near the water towers. Bring your own grog and I would suggest chair and food. God bless you all Nummy

Run 1646 Russel Dam Creswick Hare; Mountie
Mountie and Pus Bucket searched the local area for a new and exciting place to host a Hash run;
and yes they found it;
this was indeed a nice setting, lake, reeds blowing in the breeze, surrounded by native bush and trees.
But the question was had we ran from this location before?
Some say yes and some say nah
Some could also see the old Hash trail!
Mountie assured us this was indeed a virgin location...
Mountie was also a little assertive with regard to the length and quality of the run and the innocence of youth ensured Precious received a good tongue lashing from the Mountress when he made a complaint about the run.
The FOP O Metre was no available, so one of Dumb's big spanners had to be improvised for the central feature of the FOP O Metre. Mountie was therefore well and truly screwed.
Down downs involved....
No welcome backs or new runners
mmh memory fading cannot remember anything significant...
Tommy Half a Bar was there but did he tell any jokes?
Heavy and Shafted, GILF and Fluid Movement and Normal all had a good feed on the salad roles and fruit.
Next week is the long weekend for Australia day and Tommy Half a Bar is the Hare. The run will be from his house in Morrison's via Elaine...
God bless Nummy.

Run 1645 Loch Avenue Hare: Jack
Oh boy, this was an extremely hot evening. The radiant heat from the Street increased the intensity... thank JeSOS we were not running in the bush cos of the fire danger.
The drink stop was held near Haemorrhoid's house and he was glad of a beer.
The FOP O Metre was drooping due to the heat so the run score was low...
JeSOS was back, no Hash gear, as was Rear Entry & Boot Rooter.
The Masturbate was back in Hash gear but no Normal.
Jack had the family together, and it was nice to meet Warricks children again as adults.
Pus Bucket told a joke
The BBQ had Danish ham steaks and they were good.
Many thanks for another enjoyable evening.
See you next week Russel Dam Creswick, bring the fly repelant your own grog and enjoy the great out doors. God bless Nummy

Run 1644 Royal Mail Hotel Hare;Beer F-ck
This was a cold night for the first run in January for 2014 and all the Hasher's were shivering in the gusty cold wind.
The run took in the streets of Sebastopol and the ponds of the city waste.
JeSOS did not attend again this week so Dumber took on the role of Grand Master. There was a group, Bent Nose as the leader, who were chanting for Flo Jo to take on the role for the night ...
The meal came out before the Down, downs... in the Big Picture of life , is this significant... yes because Normal, Silic, Bad Hair Day and Rear Entry left before the Down, downs!
Beer Fuck did not excite the FOP O Metre to a high erect position but we did enjoy the the activity.
See you next week for the Danish Blue show at 9 Loch Street Ballarat.
God Bless Nummy

Run 1643 1 Hunt Street Hare: Heavy
The last run for 2013...
This was a run with a difference co's it was on a Tuesday night. There were a small number of Hashers who attended this event.
Heavy set a breath taking run, down the creek and up on to Brown Hill. There were plenty of drink stops and we enjoyed the view.
Precious attempted the FOP O Metre but it just was'nt the same without Foppy.
Rowdy was anxious to organise the group and assumed the position of Sergeant at Arms... Dumber the Acting grand Master, did ask him though!
Warrick stepped in as the Grog Master as Ricky was unsure of what to do and Boot Rooter did a husky job as the Choir Master.
We had visiting Hashers from Makay - Oui Oui & Champion. They are travelling around Australia and had some good stories to tell.
The Down, downs were hard to come by with the small group, even Tommy Half A Bar didn't have a joke!
GILF and Teflon were stuck together but they look happy.
Beer Fucks younin was there sculling down the Mountain mist.
Heavy put on a good feed of pork and Brandied Oranges... very nice.
The light and sound show was very nice. Music supplied by Pauline and Lighting by Oui, Oui
Pauline was the last to leave... Hope 2014 brings health and prosperity to all the Sovereign Hash. God Bless Nummy

Run 1642 Christmas Princes Street North Hare: Num & Dumb
Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas to all our Hashing family. The night was fresh and dry just like the Christmas Pudding ...
There was a prayer to commence the run in honour of our leader JeSOS. The crowd was silent and respectful as the words were spoken...
JeSOS reponded with his usual expression "ok you *unts, lets get goin" and gesture, of hand to groin, scatch and a sniff!
The Hashers ran to the Eastern Station Hotel; this brought back memories of strippers and excitment for some of the old boys. Nummy made a "Lady" friend who knew her from another life!
Next we went to the Frieght hotel, a little up market but a good venue. Next was JD's Sports Bar but they closed the doors before we got there. Off down the road to Irish Murphy's and then to the back of Spartacus's shop for a beer and fininshed at the Battlers.
We sang Christmas corals all the way, which is always good fun. Road Runner was caught on camera at the Eureka flag. Hope he keeps his job.
GILF and Teflon have become engaged and GILF had the diamonds sparkling on her finger. The wedding date is set but the venue is still up in the air.
Squizzy was back, much to Mounties distain. She wanted him to set next weeks run.
Phuck wit Phil showed us his bum as did FOP... no, he proberly showed us a bit more. FOP enjoyed his Christmas spa and dressed in the possum coat to warm up.
A vote was taken to change Monday nights run to Tuesday, New Years eve. There are a number of poor soles not invited to the A listers New Years eve Bash, so changing Hash allowes them to be with friends, at Heavy's place, 1 Hunt Street on Tuesday the 31st. No hash on Monday 30th of December.
God bless you all see you on New Years Eve Nummy
